About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Forklift Operator II to join our warehouse team! If you have experience operating forklifts and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where safety and accuracy are top priorities, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a Forklift Operator II, you’ll handle a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, and distributing materials using different types of material handling equipment. You’ll also support food safety and quality standards while helping maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
What You’ll Do
- Pick orders for outbound shipments and store inbound items
- Rotate inventory using FIFO method
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and report equipment issues
- Use hand-held scanners accurately and responsibly
- Load/unload trucks, verify received goods, and apply license plates (LPs)
- Perform location audits and truck inspections
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Follow food safety and quality protocols (HACCP, FSMA, SQF, etc.)
- Report any food safety or quality concerns immediately
- Support a culture of safety through safe work practices and observations
What You Bring
- Experience: 1–2 years of forklift operation experience
- Knowledge: Safe forklift operation practices
- Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team
