Responsibilities:
· Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks efficiently.
· Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks related to plumbing, such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and repairing fixtures.
· Address flooring issues, including repairing or replacing damaged tiles, floorboards, or carpets.
· Perform drywall repairs, patching, and painting to maintain a neat and professional appearance of walls and surfaces.
· Handle electrical repairs, such as replacing light fixtures, switches, and outlets, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
· Utilize carpentry skills to handle general repairs, including door/window adjustments, cabinetry fixes, and basic structural repairs.
· Demonstrate a high level of professionalism when interacting with staff, co-workers, and vendors.
· Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, reporting any completed tasks and pending work accurately.
· Take charge of snow removal during winter months and lawn maintenance during warmer seasons to ensure the safety and aesthetic appeal of the properties.
Qualifications:
· Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record, as driving between locations will be required to fulfill maintenance tasks.
· Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, with a solid understanding of various maintenance aspects.
· Mechanical aptitude in plumbing, flooring, drywall, electrical work, and general carpentry.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with others.
· A positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
· Demonstrated reliability and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
· Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and performing manual labor as needed.
