  • Transform technical requirements into contractual obligations to hold suppliers accountable for successful implementation.
  • Demonstrate fluency in operating systems, cores, containers, sockets, and network technologies such as OpenROADM, network disaggregation, Open RAN, and Virtual RAN to negotiate relevant terms for asset management and compliance.
  • Lead business process, cost management, and governance to ensure a single version of truth for enterprise spend data, optimization, compliance, and automation where applicable.
  • Manage risk, solve problems, and apply knowledge of laws, intellectual property, and technical regulations regarding data and privacy to inform decisions and ensure business unit stakeholders are aware of considerations.
  • Work seamlessly within and across companies, cultures, functions, and geographies to drive change and action.
  • Apply best practices from within and across industries, translating learnings into actionable strategies for AT&T.
  • Demonstrate project management skills to oversee small to large projects that may involve cross-functional teams.

What you'll need

  • 5-7 years of experience in the similar role
  • Sourcing expertise to support the adoption and rationalization of technologies, requiring technical knowledge in emerging areas such as third-party/hybrid/on-premise cloud, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) software, Radio Access Networks, next-generation Business Support Systems, automation, transformational SaaS and PaaS, disaggregated network solutions, data warehouse and analytics, and direct chip supplier relationships.
  • Ability to support a technical client organization and cross-functional technical programs/projects to advance AT&T technology.
  • Technical sourcing managers will assist client organizations in setting strategies to support business processes and post-contract sourcing operations for strategic and broad supplier relationships.
