Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and analytical HR Data Insights Lead to drive data-informed decision-making to support our HR Business Partners and Business Leaders. This role is pivotal in transforming complex HR data into clear, actionable insights that support workforce planning, talent strategies, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a data-savvy professional with a passion for storytelling through data, a strong grasp of HR metrics, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and interpret HR data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic workforce planning and HR initiatives.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytics solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights to HR leadership and business stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through regular audits, validation checks, and process improvements.
- Apply predictive analytics to forecast key HR outcomes such as attrition, engagement, and workforce capacity.
- Champion data literacy across the HR team by training colleagues on analytics tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance HR data systems, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and insight generation.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and innovations in HR analytics and data science.
- Incorporate and analyse external data sources (location, economic, regulatory, and market trends) to inform HR strategy.
- Guide HR leaders on the impact of external influences on workforce planning.
- Collaborate with FP&A and Facilities for integrated cost and headcount analytics.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR analytics, workforce planning, or data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven ability to analyse complex datasets and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and HRIS platforms.
- Experience with Workday reporting is highly desirable.
- Experience with M&A or organisational restructuring from an HR data perspective (desirable).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a global team environment.
- Solid understanding of key HR metrics and best practices in people analytics.
- Awareness of data privacy, data security, and system security best practices in handling HR information.
