About the Role:
The Poult CDL Driver plays a crucial role by ensuring the safe and timely transportation of young live turkeys from starter farms to finisher farms. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and compliance with all transportation regulations, as well as the ability to manage logistics effectively. The driver will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the products during transit, which is vital for customer satisfaction and product quality. Additionally, the role involves regular communication with dispatch and warehouse teams to coordinate schedules and address any potential issues. Ultimately, the success of this position directly impacts the efficiency of the supply chain and the overall success of the company.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL/A) with a clean driving record
- Experience in driving commercial vehicles, preferably in the live agricultural industry.
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport poultry products to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling products including Animal Welfare and Poultry BioSecurity
