Job Summary
The Project Specialist supports all phases of a project, from initiating to monitoring/controlling to the closing of a project. The Specialist must be able to support projects using a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) methodology along with various other project tools. The Specialist is responsible for working with a cross-functional Integrated Project Team (IPT) members in coordinating and scheduling Upgrade & Accessory project activities to obtain desired project results. This position requires a high degree of interaction and communication with multiple departments as well as internal/external stakeholders to be successful in assisting with projects.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Assists in delivering Upgrade & Accessory projects, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule and within budget. This includes scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and managing documentation.
- Maps out project dependencies and defines for the team what needs to be completed to reach project goals.
- Identify potential project risks and assist in developing strategies to mitigate issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Works collectively with other Project and Program managers to balance needs and constraints.
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, timelines, budgets, and reports, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assists in articulating the goals and objectives of the project and how it will impact the business with the IPT and department area(s) as required.
- Works with project team to resolve problems or constraints that arise and has appropriate escalation measures in place.
- Assisting other members of the Customer Support team, Cirrus Aircraft employees, Authorized Service Center (ASC) employees, other Cirrus Aircraft partners, or customers with issues or questions pertaining to aircraft service or the systems with which they interact
- Look for cross-functional opportunities for continual updating of Cirrus Aircraft policies and procedures and appropriate ways to communicate with team and partners.
- Bring forward ideas from self or group on next steps for continued progress for better business systems that promote enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Assist in creation and maintenance of service documents, contracts, and procedures
- Consistently exhibit exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, while demonstrating Cirrus Aircraft’s mission, vision, values, and the Steps of Service
- Other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications

- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
- One year of experience in customer service or related field
