Summary Statement:

 

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, financial performance, and guest experience of the retail stores at Resorts World Las Vegas.   This role requires a strong leader who can maintain high service standards, drives sales, optimize inventory and align the retail service experience with the hotel’s brand of luxury hospitality.  The Retail Manager is responsible for the development of retail employees and ensures consistent service standards within the department and property.  All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with all laws and regulations, as well as Resorts World Las Vegas policies, practices, and procedures.

Job Duties:

Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:

 

  • Leads the Retail Store Operations to ensure that RWLV Company standards and best practices are consistently met. 
  • Responsible for the hiring and training of new Retail Team Members ensuring associates are skilled on guests’ standards and selling skills, product knowledge, retail processes, merchandise standards, and inventory procedures.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of Retail Team Members including Retail Supervisor(s), Stock Associates, and Sales Associates.
  • Create weekly staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage for peak hotel traffic and guest needs, while meeting business objectives.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to align goals, review performance and provide coaching.
  • Foster a culture of luxury service, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Oversee product presentations, visual merchandising, and seasonal displays in line with brand guidelines and planograms.
  • Manage store budgets, control expenses and analyze sales data to optimize performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure accurate receiving, tagging, and processing of merchandise within all retail stores and assist with annual inventory of retail stores.
  • Identify opportunities within the department and propose ideas that will increase overall profitability for the entire property while also looking for ways to minimize loss of product.
  • Monitor standards, delegation of daily work, and running of all reports for the department.
  • Develop relationships with property leaders to ensure effective communication between the Retail Team and operating departments.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested. Accept special assignments as directed by Leadership.
Qualifications:

Qualifications: – Includes but is not limited to:

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Professional presence & polished appearance.
  • Adaptable and solution oriented; Ability to thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.

Preferred: 

  • Previous experience working in a large, multi-store luxury resort setting.
  • Previous experience working with a team of more than twenty-five employees.
  • Education or Degree in related retail field
  • Minimum five years of high-end luxury time piece, fine jewelry, and estate jewelry experience.
  • Minimum five years of previous luxury retail experience in a similar or related field.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three years of previousleadership/management luxury experience in a similar or related field.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
