The Learning & Development Program Manager will collaborate closely with our L&D, HR, and Events team to design and execute a variety of Learning & Development (L&D) programs across the firm, including live programs, workshops, online courses, and other L&D support.

 

The role involves three areas of leadership: thought leadership around curriculum and instructional design, guidance of program instructors and facilitators, and oversight of program logistics. The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing curriculum needs, identifying content gaps, and leading the development of new efforts. The position coordinates with internal and external consultants for programs and guides program teams around both instructional design and live delivery. The Program Manager also oversees program management, including logistics, work planning, events space, and communications.

 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Strategically oversee curriculum and identify new needs. Demonstrate thought leadership around program curriculum, content, and instructional design, for both live programs and online curriculum.
  • Plan and coordinate the execution of different L&D initiatives, concurrently, across the firm.
  • Self-organize and proactively manage all aspects of L&D program delivery from start to finish, including content creation, instructor and facilitator coordination, project planning, logistics, and post-program follow up.
  • Manage communications with program audiences and serve as lead point person for program support.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure L&D programs align with broader talent priorities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of substantive relevant experience required.
  • An ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in Learning & Development.
  • Prior experience in an L&D role within a professional services environment preferred.
  • Experience with designing and delivering learning programs, as well as leading internal and external faculty teams.
  • Experience with instructional design around both live programs and on-demand curriculum.
  • Proven track record of success in managing projects and people.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues, both verbally and through written communication..
  • Experience with a Learning Management System preferred.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Able to work independently and within a team on projects.
