WeLink is a next-generation wireless internet service provider. We use the latest millimeter wave technology (including our custom radios) and a proprietary and patent-pending approach to network deployment that allows us to deploy fiber-like networks faster and more cost-effectively than anyone else.
We were founded by experienced fixed-wireless veterans and have spent the past couple of years developing technology and refining our approach. We've had paying customers for a year in the Las Vegas metro area. At WeLink, we place a strong emphasis on delivering quality service and maintaining an excellent customer experience. As a result, our customers love our service, and our churn is extremely low.

Role Overview
We’re seeking a Community Marketing Specialist to represent WeLink within the LACBN (Los Angeles Community Broadband Network) area. This role is hands-on and highly visible in the community—perfect for someone who thrives on connecting with people face-to-face, building trust, and sparking excitement about WeLink’s mission to bring connectivity to all people.
As the local face of WeLink, you’ll be out in neighborhoods, at events, and partnering with community organizations to raise awareness, generate leads, and strengthen WeLink’s presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as WeLink’s brand ambassador within the LACBN community.
- Build relationships with residents, neighborhood associations, local businesses, and community leaders.
- Coordinate and attend community events, fairs, and pop-ups to promote WeLink’s services.
- Distribute marketing materials, answer questions, and educate residents about internet offerings.
- Partner with local organizations, nonprofits, and city stakeholders to ensure alignment
- with LACBN goals.
- Collect community feedback and share insights with the regional team to optimize campaigns.
- Support sales initiatives through grassroots lead generation and referrals.
- Manage local outreach calendars and maintain a visible, approachable presence in the community.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in field marketing, community engagement, or grassroots outreach (telecom/tech experience a plus).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable with boots-on-the-ground work: canvassing, tabling, and direct community interaction.
- Ability to work evenings or weekends when community events take place.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to connect with diverse audiences.
- Must be Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Must live in or within commuting distance to Los Angeles, California
