Job Summary and Responsibilities:
Our Anatomic Pathology Department has a full time opportunity for a SENIOR HISTOTECH to join our team!. The selected candidate will be proficient in all areas of routine histologic prep, including paraffin embedding, microtomy, routine and special staining. Proficient in surgical pathology / gross room activities including accessioning, surgical specimen handling and processing, frozen section technique. Autopsy skills desirable but not required. 
 
Located in Phoenix, AZ, this position is critical to the success of St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS: 
Requires minimum of 3 three years experience and HT(ASCP) certification.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
(ASCP) Histotechnologist
(HTL) Exam/Histologic Technician (HT) exam.
