The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Corporate Immigration Team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient preparation of visa applications, management of pending matters, and handling of confidential client documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Document collection and file management - Collect, organise and manage confidential client documentation, conduct integrity assessments, and maintain comprehensive filing systems
- Migration Manager software proficiency - Manage client profiles, ensure data from online questionnaires is extracted accurately, ensure document is uploaded properly, and manage the secure client portal.
- Application progress management – Create and maintain detailed tracking spreadsheets for corporate clients, monitor visa applications through all processing stages and provide clients with timely, accurate updates.
- Client support and communication - Deliver excellent customer service, handle routine procedural enquiries, and distribute client questionnaires
- Administrative excellence - Maintain immigration templates, manage deadline tracking, and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards
- Team support - Assist with training materials development and handle routine tasks to enable lawyers to focus on complex legal work
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong attention to detail with ability to identify document discrepancies and ensure accuracy
- Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Proficient in spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and document annotation software
- Migration Manager software experience
- Excellent customer service skills with strong written and verbal communication
- Previous paralegal or administrative experience preferred
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Proactive problem-solving approach and adaptability to new systems
