About the Role
We are seeking experienced operators who are looking to join our new Automated Detonator Assembly (ADA) team. Our team will be running 12 hour shifts, between a day/ night cycle, on a lifestyle roster, giving our people flexiblity and a better work life balance. You'll have a strong desire to learn the new operation and a thirst for reaching goals, you will share in your team’s achievements and celebrate success! Your focus on continuous improvement and challenging the status quo will see you thrive in this diverse environment.
You will also have;

- A committment to taking ownership of the role.
- A solid commitment to promoting and championing a Zero Harm safety culture in the workplace
- The adaptability to learn and undertake training for new equipment, technology and processes in order to reach production targets
- Basic numeracy and literacy capability, and be able to effectively communicate with your team and line leaders
- The flexibility to be able to undertake shift work between our day/night cycle, and overtime when required
What you'll bring
Due to exciting growth within our Helidon Assembly Plant, we are looking for motivated, ambitious individuals who are willing to undertake full ‘on the job’ training, to join our high performing, ADA team. Becoming an Operator in our new automated plant will see you operate various pieces of equipment in a safe and efficient manner to produce a variety of quality explosive products, which are shipped directly to mine sites throughout Australia and Asia Pacific.
You'll also be responsible for:
- Positively contributing to our Zero Harm safety culture
- Ability to work positively within a team environment.
- Ability to work roster and overtime when required (12 hour shifts across a day/night cycle)
- Demonstrated ability to follow supervision and direction in safety systems and quality standards.
- Good verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and undertake training to meet specific job requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to follow supervision and direction in Ergonomic and Bio Mechanic requirements for Assembly Plant
