Role Description

Your Role:  

The Associate Director, Gross to Net Forecasting will lead a broad dermatology portfolio encompassing topical therapies, biologics, and rare-disease treatments across Retail, Buy-and-Bill, and Direct Purchase channels. As a strategic finance and commercial leader, they will own the development and delivery of precise, forward-looking financial forecasts and scenario models that drive brand strategy and executive decision-making.  

This role requires deep expertise in pharmaceutical pricing and market access across Commercial and Government programs, including rigorous modeling of how commercial actions affect government-reimbursed populations and budgets. He/she will partner cross-functionally with commercial, market access, and reimbursement teams to shape go-to-market strategy, optimize product value capture, and advance enterprise performance. 

 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Own the end-to-end Gross to Net (GTN) forecasting framework for a diverse portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment with corporate objectives and enterprise margin targets. 

  • Provide regional and product-line GTN leadership, setting vision, standards, and governance for forecasting accuracy, scenario planning, and risk assessment. 

  • Lead cross-functional engagement with Market Access, Finance, Forecasting, Marketing, and Commercial Excellence to validate inputs, assumptions, and impacted business cases for GTN models. 

  • Architect and drive enhancement of GTN forecasting tools, methodologies, and processes, delivering scalable improvements in accuracy, efficiency, and automation. 

  • Monitor, interpret, and synthesize pricing, rebates, discounts, chargebacks, and other GTN components; translate data into actionable business insights for senior leadership. 

  • Analyze market dynamics, regulatory changes, and competitive shifts to inform GTN projections and mitigation strategies. 

  • Deliver strategic recommendations to commercial leadership on pricing, discounting, rebates, and contract design, with clear implications for enterprise profitability and payer mix. 

  • Prepare and present executive-level reports and dashboards, translating complex GTN analytics into clear narratives for senior management and board discussions. 

  • Develop comprehensive GTN analyses that illuminate commercialization costs, identify margin opportunities, and quantify financial impact of strategic initiatives 

  • Act as a trusted partner to optimize pricing strategy across all strategic brands, ensuring robust, forward-looking assumptions and alignment with long-term business plans. 

  • Ensure rigorous compliance with internal policies and external regulations across all forecasting activities, including SOX/controls where applicable. 

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA and/or CPA certification are highly preferred. 

  • 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with 5+ years in financial, volume or GTN forecasting experience. 

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or similar). 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

  • Requires excellent analytical ability with strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. 

 

The base salary range for this position is $152,000 -205,000 USD per year. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the LEO Pharma range for this position. Salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
