Job Description:We’re looking for a Senior Finance Analyst, reporting to the Finance Manager for Cost & Operations.
This role is based at our Warrington site, where you’ll act as a senior finance business partner to Factory Management, Continuous Improvement, and other key Operations teams. You’ll deliver sharp insights into labour costs, shift models and wider network optimisation, while ensuring Finance remains closely connected to the factory floor.
You’ll also act as deputy to the Finance Manager, stepping up to lead reporting cycles, decision-making and cross-team initiatives when needed. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional who’s commercially minded, curious, and ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced, growing business.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead weekly and monthly financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, clarity and actionable insights
- Host KPI and labour cost reviews with senior stakeholders, using financial storytelling to influence decisions
- Own monthly forecasting and annual budgeting for both direct and indirect labour, ensuring risks and opportunities are captured
- Partner with Operations on-site to hold leaders accountable while supporting them as a trusted advisor
- Collaborate with Factory, Continuous Improvement, and other teams to drive optimisation of site volumes and staffing models
- Present financial data in innovative and engaging ways to unlock better decisions
- Support and challenge Unbox Tribe squads to deliver financial OKRs
- Drive process improvement and automation projects to deliver measurable financial benefits
- Provide commercial analysis that enables fast, informed decision-making
- Act as deputy to the Finance Manager when required, leading reporting cycles and cross-team initiatives
Who You Are
- Qualified finance professional (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with strong experience in senior-facing analyst roles
- Skilled in financial modelling and analysis, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident business partner, able to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively
- Commercially minded, curious, and proactive in identifying improvements and efficiencies
- Excellent communicator, able to distil complex financials into clear, compelling insight
- Comfortable balancing time between on-site partnership and delivering high-quality analysis
- Skilled at presenting financial data in engaging ways that drive decision-makin
- Experienced in driving process improvement and automation projects
- Exposure to Dynamics 365 (a plus, but not essential)
- Resilient and self-motivated, able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified
