Sandia Peak Ski Area is looking for enthusiastic, friendly, hard-working and customer-focused Food, Beverage, and Retail Employees to join our team for the upcoming winter season! Job Summary:
As a Food, Beverage, Retail Employee, you'll be a key part of delivering an efficient, quality experience to our guests. Whether you're behind the counter, on the floor, or assisting in the kitchen, your role is vital to keeping guests happy, fed, and fueled for the slopes.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide excellent customer service
- Take food, beverage, and retail orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare, stock and serve food & retail items according to safety and quality standards
- Operate POS systems and handle cash/credit transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining & retail areas and food stations
- Assist with restocking, inventory, and basic food prep as needed
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Work as a team to keep operations smooth during busy times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but not required
- Food Handlers certification
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Cleaning, emptying trash, dishwashing, sales, and food service.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including weekends and holidays)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Must be 16+ years old
- Due to the physical and dynamic nature of work in the ski industry, employees are expected to perform all duties related to their position when they are physically and mentally capable of doing so. This may include duties outside your assigned position.This includes working in variable weather conditions, handling equipment, assisting guests, and responding to operational needs as they arise.
