MCR Health is seeking a Dentist to join our team. Focus is office-based and provides comprehensive oral health care to patients of all ages, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive services. This role ensures the highest standard of dental care is delivered while promoting overall patient wellness and maintaining compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and state/federal regulations.
The ideal candidate must have a DMD in Dentistry. Experience is preferred but not required; however, current Florida licensure is required. Bilingual is preferred but not required.
Examine, diagnose, and provide treatment for diseases, injuries, and malformations of the teeth, gums, and oral structures.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including restorative, preventive, and surgical procedures.
Administer anesthesia and perform extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, dentures, and other dental procedures as appropriate.
Educate patients on oral health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests to assess oral health conditions.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in patient records and electronic health systems.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
Maintain infection control and adhere to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA standards.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.
Participate in community outreach programs and promote oral health awareness, as assigned.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
Current, unrestricted state license to practice dentistry.
DEA license (if applicable).
Certification in CPR/BLS required.
Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds and build strong provider-patient relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a community health or multi-specialty clinical setting.
Proficiency with electronic dental/medical record systems.
Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
Commitment to ethical dental practice and continuous improvement.
