The Role
Adobe Research is looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist who thrives on storytelling and creativity. This is your opportunity to shine a spotlight on the brilliant minds and groundbreaking innovations that shape Adobe’s future. You’ll develop social-first stories, capture and produce compelling short-form videos, and collaborate with researchers, social media, and communications teams to bring content to life. From quick-turnaround projects to strategic campaigns, your work will amplify Adobe Research’s people and ideas across platforms—connecting global audiences to the technology crafting what’s next.
What You'll Do
- Identify and report on compelling stories related to Adobe’s research and people
- Develop written content and short videos promptly for social media and web platforms
- Collaborate with technical teams and collaborators at various levels, from individual contributors to leadership
- Develop and complete social media strategies to successfully deploy engaging content for a range of platforms and audiences
- Produce multimedia-rich content, including fast-paced, short videos, to improve our digital presence
What You'll Need
- Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or relevant experience
- Training and experience in journalism and/or science communications, including a portfolio of published clips and multimedia work
- Outstanding writing and visual storytelling skills, including proficiency in crafting web-based stories and short-form video content
- Ability to work within tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with collaborators from different backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to produce short written pieces as well as multimedia content that gets noticed in a today's digital environment
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
