As an essential player you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of our products. To be successful in this role, you should be able to work under a tight timeline with a solid sense of urgency, follow detailed instructions, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.



Duties & Responsibilities:

Leadership & Oversight

  • Maintain accurate documentation of schedules and outsourcing logs.
  • Track outsourced orders to ensure delivery and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Negotiate delivery timelines on rush orders and manage capacity opportunities.
  • Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with third-party embroidery vendors.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate internal embroidery workflows and prioritize jobs to maximize efficiency.
  • Manage and evaluate JUNK Brands capacity through Sew; oversee print, cut, sew, hangtag, and value-add operations by product line.
  • Create and maintain patch production schedule and coordinate shared Deco processes with embroidery.
  • Develop and maintain embroidery production schedules based on order volume, deadlines, and capacity constraints; oversee OC Internal Home, (5Bs, C&W, and Midwest) outsource partners.


Operational Management

  • Review all orders loaded to system and delegated as ready for production. Route and assign orders to the appropriate production facility based on set parameters and allocation of product. Assure the default locations are the best option for ship to location, Allocation or product, cost per cap, quality for requested style, on-time delivery
  • Set the schedule to each assigned production facility:
    • In house will be scheduled to capacity and machine based on specific work hours, operators, and Indvidual machine capability and performance.
    • Continuous review and schedule tracking daily to highlight and adject/resolve scheduling where needed to assure delivery/IHD is met.
    • Collaborate with floor leadership in both JUNK and OC to assure transparency and visibility of needs and issues.


Communication & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with design, purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to align production plans with business needs.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving are essential.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with persuasive ability.
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding environment with shifting priorities.


Education and Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or general education degree preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Computer skills: MS Office experience (especially Excel and Outlook and Teams); in-house programs (Exenta, Quick Turn) preferred but not required. Experience with Shopfloor and Salesforce are also desirable.

 

Physical Requirements 

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated) 80% of the day and occasionally reach, bend and move inside the office to access files and product.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and outsourcers and must be able to exchange accurate information in a clear manner.
  • Required to have close visual acuity to perform computer tasks and operate other office machinery.
  • Adhere to safety protocols especially in the warehouse and production areas.
