Essential Duties include the following:
- Assist in development and implementation of master production schedule through Production Management team. Responsible for Master Schedule (Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly).
- Assist/participate in coordinating Month-End Closing activities and Annual Physical Inventory.
- Provide input on inventory levels (raw materials, WIP, FGI).
- Provide input on staffing levels.
- Work closely with Customer Service and Management team to notify customers of issues/interruptions.
- Create Jobs and close jobs within the ERP system
- Create labels that detail type, lot number, container specifics and other customer requirements
- Establish and build strong working relations with internal colleagues to support Company goals and objectives as well as provide high quality service to our customers.
- Address issues and concerns in professional manner making sure to use strong, continuous communications and follow up as required.
- Communicate with other departments about order requirements
- Work with the Sales, Manufacturing and Engineering teams to determine accurate forecasts.
- Provide input to the development of inventory policies and parameters.
- Maintain & add ERP master data to include safety stock levels, ABC codes, inventory replenishment levels, production recipes, and process specifications, etc.
- Support as needed on returned goods (RMA).
- Assist in the establishment, maintenance, and reporting of key performance indicators as dictated by management.
- Assist in the ongoing review of systems and activities for efficiencies and continuous improvements.
- Flexible work schedule to serve as back up where needed within the Production Support department (Customer Service).
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management or as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Degree in associated discipline preferred. High school education or equivalent required.
- Three to five years experience in Prod Control/Scheduling environment preferred.
- Computer skills (preferably MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat)
- Ability to understand and solve technical problems.
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.
- Performance of the job may require sitting, handling items and working with fingers to type, complete paperwork, and handle other administrative functions. Occasionally may be asked to walk, stand, talk and hear others in conversion by phone or in person.
Work Environment:
- Well-lit, heated, and/or air-conditioned office setting
- Often will be in manufacturing area where temperatures may be extreme during the summer months.
