- Spends 70% of working hours leading a team of associates to clean a designated area according to SOP’s and SWI’s.
- Ensures post-cleaning checklists are completed properly and accurately.
- Used pressurized air, high pressure water, cleaning chemicals, hand cleaning, squeegees, and motorized sweepers to maintain all equipment and floors. Regularly exposed to high amounts of pretzel dust, high heat around processing rooms, and black soot in the ovens that need cleaned out.
- Spends 30% of working hours assisting the Sanitation Manager
- with overall department administration including the development/improvement of cleaning procedures, cleaning activities listed in the Master Sanitation Schedule, and sanitation/allergen verification.
- Able to navigate and use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and EAM Systems.
- Trains and instructs new associates for cleaning procedures and other responsibilities.
- Develops, motivates, and positions Sanitation associates for skill development and greatest contribution.
- Provides advice and recommendations to the supervisor upon request and by own initiative.
- Able to execute managerial aspects of the facility temporarily, in times of the Sanitation Manager's absence.
