We're currently hiring a Business Strategy & Insights Manager to be part of our Central Business Strategy & Customer Insights team and is based in Region Europe. A successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of global, business-critical market and competitor insight projects. Collect and analyze data on competitors, industry trends, and market conditions to provide actionable insights for business decisions. Monitor key players, provide regular reports, conduct market and competitive analysis, and support strategy development. 

What you’ll do at Elekta    

This role provides actionable intelligence to support strategic decision-making, drive profitable growth, and enable the execution of Elekta’s business strategies. The Business Strategy & Insights Manager will shape, scope, and deliver insights that empower stakeholders to make robust, data-driven decisions, working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Business Lines, Regions and other teams across Elekta. 

Your role will include (but not limited to): 

  • Continuous Market Analysis & Monitoring: Develop a deep understanding of the market, customer and competition and closely monitor and report on all major market and competitive activities.  

  • Lead Market & Competitive Intelligence Initiatives: Establish, drive, and lead a highly effective global intelligence process, including capturing, assessing, and disseminating market, customer, and competitive insights. 

  • Orchestrate war room on key competitors: Maintain competitive war rooms and play books on top five competitors and deliver competitive insights on a quarterly basis.  

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Influence: Work closely with stakeholders at all levels to translate information into actionable insight. Lead workshops to define project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility and resource allocation.  

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather and analyse large volumes of data from multiple sources. Conduct deep-dive analyses and produce clear, actionable intelligence reports tailored to various audiences (e.g., Business Lines, Product Organization, C-level, Executive Board). 

  • Process & Methodology Development: Introduce and maintain robust processes, guidelines, and documentation. Develop tools and programs that make insights accessible and actionable for stakeholders. 

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvement initiatives and keep all documentation updated on global systems. 

  • Best Practice: Lead best practice calls and forums to drive actionable insights and foster a culture of intelligence-driven decision-making.  

  • Project Management: Manage a portfolio of projects and requests, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate internal and third-party resources, develop project plans, and monitor progress. 

  • Vendor Identification: Identify best sources of market and competitive information and work with internal colleagues and external vendors to deliver insights based on stakeholder needs.  

  • Continue monitoring tariff work and reporting on a biweekly basis. 

The right capabilities  

  • A sharp analytical mindset, capable of distilling diverse data sources into clear actionable insights.  

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts simply.  

  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience.  

  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team. 

 

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, strategy, analytics, or a related field.  

  • 3–5 years of consulting or business strategy experience.  

  • Experience in healthcare, medical technology, or related industries are advantageous 

  • Proven experience working across multiple concurrent projects, ideally within IT or BI settings.  

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data.  

  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous 

  • Sensitivity to confidentiality and understanding of legal and ethical guidelines in competitive intelligence. 

  • Strong ethical standards, values and good judgement.
