Linklaters is a global law firm, with 31 offices in 21 countries worldwide.

Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

Trainee Recruitment & Development Coordinator - The role:

Are you passionate about supporting early careers and making a real impact in a world-class law firm? As a Trainee Recruitment & Development Coordinator at Linklaters in London, you’ll play a vital role in both our Trainee Recruitment and Trainee Development teams.

  • You’ll provide hands-on, in-person support across a variety of activities—from facilitating assessment centres and organising recruitment events, to supporting trainee development processes like seat rotations, secondments, and inductions.
  • Your day-to-day will be varied and rewarding: you’ll manage busy inboxes, answer candidate and trainee queries, help create engaging social media content, and coordinate volunteers for recruitment marketing events.
  • You’ll also handle key administrative tasks such as processing invoices and managing spreadsheets.
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with experienced HR professionals, gain exposure to all aspects of early talent management, and contribute to the success of our future legal talent.

Trainee Recruitment & Development Coordinator - What we're looking for:

  • We’re seeking a proactive team player with experience in a busy, highly administrative role—ideally within HR in a professional services environment.
  • You’ll have excellent planning and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while staying calm under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the confidence to interact with senior stakeholders.
  • If you thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy juggling multiple tasks, and are passionate about supporting others, you’ll fit right in.
  • Experience with event organisation, social media content creation, and spreadsheet management will be highly valued.
  • At Linklaters, we celebrate diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds. If you’re excited by this role but don’t meet every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you.

This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
