Financial Analyst – Foundation Medical Partners, Southern NH Health

About the Job:
The Financial Analyst will support the Finance team at Foundation Medical Partners (FMP) by assisting in the development of the annual operating budget, analyzing revenue and expense trends, and contributing to financial reporting and planning tools. This role reports to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in developing the annual operating budget for FMP, including meetings with department heads and reviewing expenses by cost center and spend category.
Provide training and support for budgeting and GL systems to ensure accuracy.
Develop financial reports and planning tools to evaluate performance and support decision-making.
Contribute to the monthly close process, including variance analysis and commentary development.
Compile data and assist in preparing Monthly Operating Reviews (MOR) for leadership.
Generate and distribute weekly volume/revenue reports and monthly FTE/overtime reports.
Participate in year-end financial audits and provide ad-hoc reporting.
Support Finance team members in report development and analysis.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Who You Are / Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
Experience: Minimum of one year of healthcare financial planning experience required.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong computer skills.
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
Effective communication and collaboration across departments.
Ability to manage stress and adhere to HIPAA confidentiality standards.
Preferred Knowledge: Experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning.
