About the Role:
Join the journey to net zero in one of the UK’s most vital sectors. We’re looking for a passionate and driven graduate to join our Carbon & Sustainability team in the water industry. As a Graduate Carbon Analyst, you’ll play a key role in helping us reduce emissions, enhance environmental performance, and shape a more sustainable future for communities across East Anglia.
Key Responsibilities:
Support carbon accounting and reporting across operational and capital projects
Analyse data to identify carbon hotspots and opportunities for reduction
Collaborate with engineering, asset management, and environmental teams
Contribute to life cycle assessments and carbon footprint modelling
Assist in preparing sustainability reports and stakeholder communications
Stay up to date with evolving carbon legislation and best practices
What We’re Looking For:
Strong data analysis skills – confident working with carbon accounting tools and spreadsheets
Excellent communication skills – able to translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights
Proactive mindset – eager to identify carbon reduction opportunities and drive innovation
Understanding of water industry challenges – including energy use, emissions from treatment processes, and supply chain impacts
Willingness to learn – open to training and development in carbon management and water sector operations
Adaptability – able to thrive in a dynamic, evolving regulatory and technological landscape
