The role
We are seeking a Technical Project Management Lead within the Paid Marketing X-Channel Team, a dynamic and cross-functional group working on a wide range of innovative topics. This role involves overseeing projects that span creative, marketing, and technical domains, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and delivering impactful results. You will have the opportunity to lead the roll-out of key initiatives, optimize processes, and work with cutting-edge tools and strategies that enhance the performance of the team and business.
Reporting to the Paid Marketing X-Channel Director, you will help develop and execute strategic plans, driving innovative solutions that elevate performance marketing to the next level through advanced technology, scalable processes, and data-driven strategies.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in product or solution-oriented roles, ideally with experience in customized bidding systems, tracking or marketing tools, who also brings solid expertise in online and performance marketing platforms.
What you’ll do
- Oversee and coordinate the work of project managers to ensure efficient delivery of cross-functional technical marketing initiatives
- Oversee technical project management efforts for cross-functional initiatives, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful delivery
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing teams to align project objectives, gather requirements, and provide regular status updates
- Conduct tracking audits and cleanups for web and app platforms, including GTM containers, ensuring accurate attribution and performance signal optimization
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing tracking and measurement framework to standardize processes, guidelines, and best practices across all marketing channels
- Coordinate the transition to a 1st party event tracking platform (Snowplow) alongside data product managers, ensuring smooth adaptation for marketing teams
- Drive conversion optimization initiatives in marketing platforms to optimize algorithms toward the correct signals
- Conduct privacy-related audits across regions and brands to ensure compliance with local regulations, data protection laws, and industry standards
- Enhance opt-in processes for email and paid marketing channels, improving secure handling of PII, cookie data, and MAIDs
- Support projects to improve the feedback loop between marketing and design with creative automation, reporting, and content production efficiency
- Develop and execute web-to-app marketing strategies to increase engagement, conversion, and retention
- Facilitate team collaboration through regular project meetings, sprint reviews, and agile ceremonies
What you’ll bring
- Experienced in leading complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Familiar with attribution and measurement frameworks for measuring marketing success and defining action points
- Skilled in tracking solutions, server-to-server (S2S) mechanisms, and first-party cookie solutions.
- Understanding the principles of digital asset management tools and creative processes
- Strong in problem-solving, attention to detail, and translating technical capabilities into business impact
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a proactive and organized approach
- A natural hustler with a contagious “can-do” attitude who thrives in fast-paced environments
- Analytically gifted with an ability to turn trends into actionable insights and hypotheses
- Responsible, diligent and with a passion for owning projects from start to finish
- A strong communicator (both written and verbal) and truly an “egoless” team player
- At ease with engaging with other Directors and C-suite level executives to communicate performance and its impact on revenue and profitability of the business
- Strong analytically, using data to optimize day-to-day performance and run split-testing campaigns
At a minimum, you have...
- 5-7 years of experience in project management, ideally within marketing, creative, or digital environments
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects involving marketing, creative, and technical teams
- Proficiency with reporting tools (Clarisights, Tableau, etc.) and digital asset management systems (Bynder, MediaValet, etc.)
- You have a good understanding of data clean rooms and their application in privacy-safe marketing and measurement
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and tools such as Jira & Airtable
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of building strong relationships and driving collaboration
