Support of Beverage Program
- Assist the Senior Bar Captain in executing the beverage program, including cocktail preparation, seasonal updates, and quality control.
- Ensure all recipes, presentation, and service standards are consistently followed.
- Share guest feedback and sales insights to help refine beverage offerings.
Health, Safety & Cleanliness
- Maintain strict compliance with health department regulations and company policies.
- Enforce and monitor the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all bar areas.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure bar equipment and workstations meet safety and hygiene standards.
Operational Oversight
- Oversee daily bar operations in the Senior Bar Captain’s absence, ensuring smooth and consistent service.
- Serve as the “eyes and ears” during opposing shifts, reporting updates, issues, or concerns back to the Senior Bar Captain.
- Support scheduling needs, including coverage, swaps, and day-of adjustments.
- Report waste, breakage, or shortages promptly to the Senior Bar Captain and F&B Manager.
Team Support & Training
- Act as a mentor for bartenders and servers, reinforcing training initiatives established by the Senior Bar Captain.
- Step in to coach staff during service and model high standards of hospitality.
Guest Service & Experience
- Provide exceptional guest service both behind the bar and on the floor.
- Act as the point of contact for guest concerns or special requests when the Senior Bar Captain is not present.
- Ensure VIP and special service requests are executed seamlessly.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Function as the direct support and second-in-command to the Senior Bar Captain.
- Communicate consistently with the Senior Bar Captain to keep them informed of shift activity, staff performance, and operational needs.
- Take ownership of delegated projects that enhance the overall success of the beverage program.
