We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Commercial Advisor (Power) to join our Market Services team in Perth on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Manager Contracts & Commercial Services, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service to APA’s customers and ensuring contractual obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage revenue contracts for APA’s thermal generation and renewable energy assets, ensuring commercial outcomes are optimised.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with APA’s existing customer base to support long-term partnerships.
  • Interpret complex agreements and provide clear, actionable commercial advice in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Maintain and enhance contract management systems and processes, ensuring accurate tracking of and compliance with contract obligations.
  • Support internal stakeholders with contract-related insights to enable informed decision making

Your background

  • Demonstrated experience in commercial contract management within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills, with a collaborative team approach.
  • Solid understanding of power purchase agreements, electricity markets (NEM and WEM) and commercial frameworks.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Legal qualifications or experience are advantageous but not essential.
  • High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Market Services delivers 24/7 commercial operations and asset operations support, manages short-term revenue and contract obligations, and oversees hydrocarbon accounting and invoicing across APA’s power and gas assets.
