Overview:

Executive Assistant 

 

  • Full-time, Continuing position  

  • Salary HEW Level 6 ($93,891 - $112,144) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements 

  • Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working 

 

About You 

As the Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high quality project support, administrative support and secretarial functions (e.g. diary and email management) to the Dean and designated members of the School Executive. 

 

You will contribute to the execution of School and College-based projects that support the school to meet its strategic and operational plan. Working in unison with the College professional services team for guidance and direction in terms of approach, manage whole school events, such as school meetings and planning days. In addition, you will support the communications requirements of the school, such as knowledge management (including intranet maintenance) and newsletter development. 

 

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:  

 

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior administrative/operations/project support role with the ability to work proactively and autonomously. 

  • Exceptional organisational, planning and project coordination skills, with experience establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. 

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail. 

  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently, show initiative and exercise discretionary judgment. 

  • Strong relationship skills with proven ability to liaise constructively and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders on complex, sensitive and confidential issues. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to draft correspondence of a very high standard to internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Proven high level of computer literacy including word processing; presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint); email, internet and electronic document management databases and ability to manage electronic and paper-based filing systems including TRIM

  • Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing  

  • Data Science and Machine Learning  

  • Cybersecurity  

  • Software Engineering  

  • Digital Health  

  • Computer Science Education
