Role Description

24x7 monitoring of IT infrastructure and applications using SolarWinds and other configured tools.

Identify and log issues promptly, ensuring accurate ticket creation in Jira.

Perform initial assessment, triaging, and SOP-based troubleshooting of alerts and incidents.

Monitor performance metrics and generate regular reports and dashboards.

Support threshold fine-tuning and proactive system monitoring.

Provide support for incident management processes, including root cause documentation.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams during incidents and outages.

Manage escalation and communication in case of major incidents (MI).

Ensure timely updates and closure of tickets with proper documentation.

Adhere to organizational processes, SLAs, and compliance guidelines.

Technical Skills

ITIL Foundation certification.

Certifications such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching).

Exposure to server monitoring (Windows/Linux), databases, or cloud platforms.

Prior experience in handling Major Incidents (MI) and stakeholder communication.

Familiarity with automation scripts or reporting dashboards.

 

Nice-to-have skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in NOC / IT Infrastructure Monitoring.

Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds preferred).

Experience working on ticketing tools (Jira preferred ).

Good knowledge of incident management and ITIL fundamentals.

Ability to work in 24x7 rotational shifts from the Pune office.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
