THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of project plans, service level agreements (SLAs), and risk tracking systems in alignment with FIFA’s 4-year tournament and event schedule.
  • Support the effective management of the FIFA Uniform Programme by maintaining operational excellence, including daily inbox management and tracking uniform issuance per individual.
  • Coordinate and execute uniform operations for all FIFA tournaments and events—this includes preparing distribution lists, managing pick-and-pack processes, consolidating returns, and overseeing staff uniform issuance (both mass and ad hoc). 
  • Act as a key advocate for the Uniforms Programme by representing uniform policies and tournament-specific requirements during Workforce Briefings, ensuring consistency and compliance across all stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date uniform data through monthly reporting on stock levels, inventory, orders, and project statuses, including challenges and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in planning and placing uniform orders, aligning with supplier lead times and logistical constraints.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships within FIFA (e.g., Logistics, Project Leads, Guest Operations) and with external partners, including uniform suppliers and warehouse providers.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of uniform operations by developing and refining best practices and operational processes.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in operations, uniforms, retail, or major event delivery (experience with FIFA events or other global sporting events is a plus)
  • Solid understanding of operational processes, ideally gained in a high-paced, large-scale event or logistics environment
  • Strong project management and presentation skills, with the ability to manage concurrent projects independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages such as French, Spanish, or German are highly desirable
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems, SAP, and project management tools (e.g. Monday.com) is preferred
  • Knowledge of Rosterfy is a plus
  • Flexible, innovative, and solutions-driven, with the ability to adapt quickly and efficiently under pressure
  • Demonstrated relationship-building skills, with a collaborative mindset and experience working in cross-cultural teams
  • Willingness to travel as required for tournament or event-related duties
