What You Will Be Doing

As Gas Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations of the gas bar, ensuring efficient service, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety standards. You will lead by example, supporting staff in delivering friendly, helpful service and keeping the site running safely and effectively.

  • Supervise and schedule gas bar staff, ensuring they are properly trained and consistently meeting customer service expectations.
  • Support customers directly by providing assistance with fueling, propane, windshield services, and monitoring fluid levels as needed.
  • Ensure the gas bar is ready for business at opening and secured at closing, including managing merchandise displays, propane dispensing, and safety checks.
  • Oversee inventory by ordering, receiving, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Work collaboratively with the Co-op management team to implement strategies that enhance service, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Take responsibility for housekeeping duties to keep the site clean, safe, and welcoming. This includes maintaining restrooms, removing garbage, cleaning spills, sweeping, and shoveling when required.

What You Will Need

  • Proven experience in retail or gas bar supervision.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Basic understanding of sales and inventory management.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays
