The Flutter Functions Sportsbook & Trading team helps to drive the success and growth of some of the world’s best known sports betting brands, with over 400 colleagues working in roles across trading, operations, product, delivery, architecture and engineering, partnering closely with more than 1,100 people in the wider global trading and sportsbook community at Flutter.

The Shared Platforms team is a pivotal force within Flutter Functions, driving the success of Flutter’s in-house strategic platforms that power multiple brands across the group. This team not only crafts and steers the co-creation strategy and vision for these platforms but also ensures seamless divisional alignment across various areas. They are the champions of Inner Source, the co-creation strategy within strategic platforms, empowering our brands to innovate and excel across the Flutter ecosystem. We also play a key role in ensuring that our Shared Platforms are secure and safe for the business

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tech Compliance Specialist to join our team, with a primary focus on ensuring compliance of our Shared Platforms with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our internal controls, working as a bastion of tech compliance and bridging Tech with Internal Audit teams

What You’ll Be Doing:

   SOX Compliance

   - Develop, implement, and maintain IT controls in accordance with SOX requirements for our Shared Platforms.

   - Conduct regular assessments and audits of IT processes and systems to ensure compliance with SOX regulations specifically for our Shared Platforms.

   - Identify, document, and address any deficiencies or gaps in IT controls related to SOX for our Shared Platforms.

Documentation and Reporting

   - Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT controls, processes, and procedures.

   - Generate regular compliance reports for management and external auditors.

   - Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate SOX compliance audits.

 Risk Management

   - Identify and assess IT related risks that could impact financial reporting for Shared Platforms

   - Work with established teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for Shared Platforms

   - Work with established teams to monitor and track the remediation of identified risks and deficiencies

Training and Support

   - Provide training and guidance to IT and business teams on SOX compliance requirements.

   - Serve as a subject matter expert on SOX compliance for IT-related matters.

Continuous Improvement

   - Stay current with changes in SOX regulations and best practices for IT compliance.

   - Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of IT controls.

   - Participate in the development and enhancement of compliance tools and systems.
