Position: Paraprofessional – Special Ed. Data Clerk
Hourly Rate: $14.88 plus credit for related years of experience and education.
Salary Schedule: Support Staff Initial Salary
Hours: Part-time; 10 hours per week

Reports to: Director of Student Services, Student Services Program Specialist, and Principal
Job Description
The Paraprofessional Special Ed. Data Clerk will support the Special Ed. Team to ensure that the curriculum and school programs are implemented in a way to maximize student learning experiences.
Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent and a 2-year college degree (AA from an accredited institution), 60 credits toward a 4-year degree or successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with staff, students and the public
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to schedule, track, and notice various special education meetings and documents
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret educational documents
- Must have or be able to obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance card through Arizona Department of Public Safety
Essential and Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of special education records.
- Perform various clerical duties such as assisting the special education team in scheduling meetings, evaluations and sending out meeting notices.
- Assist in the gathering, compiling, and uploading required data for the Medicaid billing, Merit- Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).
- Promote and maintain confidentiality regarding records and documentation.
Other duties may be assigned.
