Infrastructure Systems Administrator na Global Data Consultants

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking an Infrastructure Systems Administrator to work in a hybrid capacity, wiith 1 day on-site per week in Harrisburg, PA.

As a Infrastructure Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the architecture, design, and support of complex open systems computing environments, ensuring operational stability, system security, and infrastructure performance across diverse platforms.

• Perform architecture and design of virtualized Intel and Linux environments, including Hypervisors and storage platforms.

• Conduct system architecture analysis, capacity planning, and oversee changes and implementations in the open systems environment.

• Maintain operational stability while enforcing security controls, including OS vulnerability remediation and patch management.

• Provide expert-level support for Microsoft Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and Group Policy Administration.

• Create system images for new virtualized servers aligned with DoD STIG standards.

• Develop and support a detailed Disaster Recovery Plan, including business continuity and recovery testing.

• Analyze system performance statistics for tuning, issue resolution, and capacity planning.

• Manage hardware life cycles and evaluate new technology products.

• Develop migration plans for major system upgrades.

• Provide technical training and support to teams and stakeholders.

• Extensive experience with enterprise-level system architecture, virtualization, and infrastructure design.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.

• Proven ability in vulnerability remediation, patch management, and OS security controls.

• Experience with DoD STIG standards and system hardening.

• Demonstrated ability in capacity planning, system performance analysis, and troubleshooting.

• Experience developing and executing disaster recovery plans.

• PowerShell scripting for system automation and administration.

• Basic certificate administration and PKI familiarity.

• Experience with Azure Arc or hybrid cloud environments.

• Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop administration.
