The Statesville, NC Facility Manager will be responsible for managing the processing, shipping/receiving, and full facility activities. Their goals and objectives will be to work with support staff to drive production fundamentals of quality, cost and units + lead facility transformation projects including process improvements, asset deployments, and new capabilities. Additional responsibilities include work output, fiscal impact, and reporting requirements. Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage daily/weekly/monthly staffing and effective resource allocation (Forecasting & Capacity planning) to maximize process outputs, drive sales velocity, and meet customer SLA’s
- Partner and support your internal customers, Sprout’s outbound sales team, in driving monthly revenue targets and product quality
- Manage, develop and motivate direct reporting staff. Construct a high performing team to exceed expectations consistently. Action development plans to build a strong team and culture in the facility to achieve goals and objectives.
- Decrease the overall speed to process and move product to finished goods inventory
- Ensure a safe operating environment within industry standards. Ensure a high up time and utilization rate of equipment.
- Track departmental budget and as applicable take appropriate actions to ensure that departmental budget goals are achieved. Understand cost and revenue drivers and make changes to optimize for profitability.
- Drive Continuous Improvement and total employee involvement in critical success areas by empowering employees to utilize Lean manufacturing tools.
- Work diligently to learn, understand and be fully functional (Able to train others) in all system platforms as it pertains to the departmental responsibilities.
- Make decisions and modifications where necessary to ensure execution beyond expectations for all customer requirements.
- Work with compliance partner to adhere to R2 compliance standards, ISO standards, and any other Sprout-wide certifications
- Assists in hiring, training, performance evaluation for direct reports
- Responsible for disciplining and coaching his/her department employeesOther duties as required.
