JOB PURPOSE |
The Returns Department Administrator’s primary responsibility is to assist in the returns process, and make sure all returns are logged in and processed within an acceptable timeframe. This role oversees the logging and processing of returns, as well as report and any other paperwork needed by the Returns Team Lead. This person will work with supervisors, managers, directors, and executives regarding returns.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Receive pallets of returns to sort for repairs, general returns, or serialized and send them to the proper departments.
- Log product into Daily Return Log, and research is product came back for defect, regular return, or exchange.
- Create and receive RA’s for returns that need to be refunded.
- Contact customer who have an issue with their returns.
- Reship all products that come back for reshipment.
- Send all opened MFG products to the correct area for repackaging.
- Compile and send the end of day report for the department.
- Maintaining Returns Log, and ensuring all tasks are completed.
- Help in any other task the department may need.
- Obtain items from the MFG warehouse, serialized warehouse, and general warehouse for replacements for customer’s exchanges.
- Reports directly to Customer Service Supervisor, but is frequently given daily duties or instruction from Team Lead.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS |
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year customer service experience.
- Excellent computer, logistical, and analytical skills.
- Proficient experience operating a computer in several different platforms: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and NetSuite.
- Strong skills with data entry management, dependability, information analysis, and deadlines.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Has a career driven attitude with a desire to grow with the company.
- Maintains a positive attitude, is goal driven and focused on the betterment and overall strategic picture of the organization.
- Has a solid understanding about PSA products, and processes. Additionally, they will need to have an understanding of how the PSA warehouses and manufacturing work.
- Maintain confidentiality as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree
- 2+ years Customer Service experience
WORKING CONDITIONS |
Specific job assignments may require day, evening, weekend or holiday hours. Overtime may be required based on workload. The schedule is weekly, Monday through Friday with some weekends included. Work is performed in warehouse environment, and may include typical office environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS |
Heavy PC and moderate phone usage. Sitting for long periods of time. Lifts from floor to waist up to 40 pounds, carries up to 40 pounds and walks or stands.
