The Change Specialist partners with the business to support change efforts intentionally and efficiently as we grow our business and our culture. The Change Specialist delivers solutions to support the human elements of project implementation and assists leaders and teams in successfully navigating through change.
– This is an Exempt position
Serves people, solves problems and adds value to the business by utilizing both the science and art of change management. Assist project managers and teams in change messaging/communications, training plan execution, and stakeholder analysis.
Contributes to a shared vision of successful change. Exceptional ability to communicate across all levels of the organization to grow the acceptance of change. Ensure multiple channels of communication are used to help team members understand what is changing and how their work will be impacted.
Instills trust and customer focus while driving engagement with key stakeholders. Deploy change tools, strategies and resources to be used by leaders. May include but not limited to communications, business readiness, training and resistance plans. Coordinate training to help people lead themselves and others through change.
Delivers results through continuous improvement to the change life cycle and partnering with team members at all levels. Adapt to quickly changing environments, project scopes, and ambiguity while maintaining change timeline.
Coordinate change activities, impacts, and dependencies alongside project managers. Ability to contribute to multiple initiatives at a time.
Participates as a member of the Team. Participates in ongoing development, communication and implementation of team concepts, programs and policies. Able to collaborate as part of a cross-functional team to achieve synergy across the larger organization. Supports other organizational development initiatives as needed.

Physical Activities: Enters and locates information on a computer. Visually verifies information, often in small print. Communicates with Customers, Vendors, or Employees via telephone, in person, and/or electronic mail. Presents information to small and large groups. May travel via car or plane to various work locations. Set up and move equipment such as projectors, computers, flip-charts and materials required for classroom training.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): As required by visiting facilities.
Travel: 10%, will vary by project assignment.
Technical Experience: Experience with organizational change efforts, communications planning and execution, and/or stakeholder engagement.
Industry Experience: Preferred experience in agricultural production/food manufacturing.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in organizational development, business, management, communications, or related field, or 4 years related equivalent work experience.
Preferred Education: Master’s degree in organizational development or related field.
