NOTE:  Must have the following to be considered for this role:  Class B license + Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements


Essential Job Functions

Operates fuel truck according to state and federal transportation laws. Transports fuel, water, & other materials in a safe and timely manner over required route. Obeys all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations. Follows arm and hand signals as utilized by company standard. Reports maintenance issues to supervisor in timely manner. Reports all traffic citations promptly regardless of severity. Reports accidents to supervisor within specified timeframe according to company handbook. This is considered a Safety Sensitive position, so OMMA card is not approved for this role.  


ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Must be 18 years or older, pass a pre-employment physical, drug test and consent to pre-employment background check including MVR check. Must take safety training as required. Must be able to work as a team player with a diverse group of people. Must be able to follow directions and complete daily tasks and expectations. Must be able to communicate problems to manager. Must be able to work overtime and travel as required, with occasional overnight travel. Must report to work at designated start time. Must display a professional attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times. Must maintain constant alertness on job sites.  


Experience and education requirements

CDL driver's license (Class A or B) 


Physical requirements

Able to sit in truck for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to climb into and operate truck and/or various types of trailers. Must pass physical certifications to maintain current DOT Medical Certification.

 

Work Environment:

Exposure to a variety of weather conditions at construction sites, including extreme heat and cold, rain, sleet or snow. Noise level can be loud.
