Dixon Fire, a division of The Dixon Group is currently looking for a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our team in Winchester, VA, as an Assembler. In this role, you'll be primarily responsible for the quality and timely assembly and inspection of components, utilizing various small hand tools and machinery. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude who can thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

🚚 What You'll Do:

  • Assembly and inspection of parts
  • Maintain production reporting
  • Focus on production, product quality, and accuracy

🎯 What We're Looking For:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Mechanical aptitude is a must
  • Ability to use basic mathematics (specifically addition and subtraction)
  • Ability to consistently lift and maneuver 20-30 lbs. over a shift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Able to consistently and efficiently complete repetitive motions
  • Flexibility and dexterity with fingers and hands for manipulating parts and components
  • Must be able to operate hand tools and other machining equipment
  • Able to communicate effectively and follow basic instructions
  • Ability to understand and advise on non-conformance of operations
  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
