Summary of the Position: As a Test Lab Intern, you will support our engineering and quality assurance teams by conducting tests, creating design models, and assisting with inspections. This hands-on role in a high-voltage laboratory emphasizes safety, precision, and attention to detail, providing valuable experience in testing procedures, data analysis, and cross-departmental collaboration.
Projects You Will Work On:
- Create models and drawings of design concepts.
- Conduct Dry AC Voltage Withstand tests.
- Perform Partial Discharge Measurements.
- Carry out Quality Inspections.
- Execute Leak Check Testing.
- Utilize X-Ray Imaging for inspections.
- Assist with and conduct Impulse Testing.
- Support the Test Lab Engineer and Manager.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Department.
Skills and Requirements:
- Previous electrical experience is preferred.
- Commitment to safe working practices in a high voltage laboratory environment.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Experience in building, prototyping, and/or machining is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Methodical and detail-oriented approach.
