What you will do:
- Manage the full contract lifecycle, including proposals, pricing, negotiations, awards, modifications, change orders, administration, and closeouts.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, company policies, and contractual requirements.
- Draft, review, and revise contractual agreements to align with approved terms and conditions.
- Analyze and interpret contract terms, including FAR, DFARS, GSAR, agency-specific regulations, and Executive Orders, providing guidance compliance.
- Perform risk assessments to identify legal and business risks and collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.
- Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand contract requirements and provide guidance on contract-related matters.
- Lead the administration and monitoring of contract performance, including compliance with terms and conditions, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Address and resolve any contract-related issues or disputes promptly and effectively.
- Develop and implement contract management policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present regular reports on contract status, risks, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory changes impacting contract management processes.
- Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in contract administration, specifically with federal contracts.
- Strong knowledge of federal contract law, contract management best practices, and industry standards.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of low-code platforms and software development lifecycle.
- Experience with government contracting and federal acquisition processes.
