Preference will be given to candidates based in Lisbon, Portugal with strong English language proficiency. Lisbon-based candidates will have a hybrid schedule (2 days in office).
Key Responsibilities:
· Own the website channel: manage SEO, site structure, and CRO to drive growth.
· Lead SEO strategy: from keyword research and content hubs to technical audits and structured data. Must have experience with AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.)
· Collaborate with our B2B Technical Writer: provide SEO insights, briefs, and content strategy frameworks so great writing also performs in search.
· Collaborate with our Growth Marketing Specialist: align organic and paid acquisition, share insights on funnel performance, and optimize conversion paths together.
· Run CRO experiments: test CTAs, landing pages, and forms to increase visitor-to-lead conversions.
· Monitor performance: track rankings, organic traffic, and website conversion metrics; report results and insights.
· Stay curious: keep us ahead of SEO and CRO trends, test new ideas, and bring fresh thinking to the team.
In true startup fashion, this list is not inclusive of all responsibilities, so a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality is key to success!
Qualifications:
· Proven track record in SEO strategy & execution (technical + on-page + off-page).
· Experience building and executing a content strategy aligned to buyer journeys.
· Hands-on with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Hotjar, etc.).
· Strong understanding of website performance and conversion optimization.
· Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally with writers, designers, and developers.
· Comfortable turning data into actionable insights and communicating them clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in a B2B SaaS or tech startup environment.
· Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
· Familiarity with CRO tools and running structured experiments (Optimizely, Google Optimize, VWO).
· Understanding of AI/tech markets or ability to learn complex technical topics quickly.
