Description:

CTG is seeking to fill a Documentum Developer (Application Developer/Enterprise Platforms) opening for our client in Plano, TX.

 

Duration: 4 months

 

Duties:

  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot Documentum applications, including Content Server, D2 Config, D2 Classic, D2 Smart View, Brava, CTS, xPlore, and DFC Client.

  • Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, and API development for ECM platforms.

  • Develop and maintain REST APIs using the Spring Framework.

  • Implement solutions using Java and Python, leveraging design patterns and software architecture best practices.

  • Utilize tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ, Tomcat/J2EE, and relational databases for development and deployment.

  • Conduct unit testing, code coverage analysis, deployment processes, vulnerability management, and system monitoring.

  • Work with AWS services including EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and AWS SDK; troubleshoot deployments and analyze logs.

  • Collaborate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, manage tasks independently, and contribute to project documentation.

Skills:

  • Documentum architecture, object model, and security.

  • REST API development with Spring Framework.

  • Java and Python programming.

  • AWS cloud services and deployment troubleshooting.

  • Agile methodology and team collaboration.

  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ, Tomcat/J2EE, and relational databases.

  • Knowledge of software design patterns, architecture, and development best practices.

Experience:

  • 7+ years in designing, developing, and troubleshooting Documentum applications.

  • 2+ years implementing REST APIs using Spring Framework.

  • 5+ years of Java and Python programming experience.

  • 3+ years working with AWS services.

  • Experience with platform upgrades, migrations, and system monitoring.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
