Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Directly supervises the Slot Attendants in the Slot Department.  Ensures and promotes exceptional guest services.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities and ensures compliance with established policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and internal controls.

All Department Managers and Directors, General Manager, vendors and other casino personnel

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  1. Ensures a high level of guest satisfaction and maintains an environment conducive to that goal.

  2. Verifies all jackpots and short pays in accordance with current Nooksack Casino gaming regulations.

  3. Ensures that gaming procedures and regulations are properly followed.  Ensures compliance with tribal, state, federal, and NIGC regulations and laws. 

  4. Supervises floor operations during assigned shift.  Addresses complaints and resolves problems.

  5. Trains, develops, and monitors subordinate personnel to ensure departmental effectiveness.

  6. Ensures the control and protection of company assets.

  7. Works closely with the Slot Manager to address the needs of the department.

  8. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Slot Manager.

Qualifications


QUALIFICATIONS 

Required:

  1. One year of experience in the slot department.

  2. Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Class III gaming licenses from the Nooksack Gaming Commission and the Washington State Gambling Commission.

  3. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Liquor Control Board Class 12 Mixologist Permit and TIPS certification.

  4. Must be at least 21 years of age. 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  1. May work in a noisy, crowded, and smoke-filled environment.

  2. May interact with persons who are angered, intoxicated, or distressed.

  3. Will be monitored by surveillance cameras.

  4. May be required to work various shifts and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  1. Must be able to lift, move, and push items weighing up to 25 lbs.

  2. Position requires walking or moving about to accomplish tasks and occasional standing and/or sitting for sustained periods of time.

  1. Working knowledge of slot machine games and their payoffs.

  2. Knowledge of casino operations, relevant policies and procedures, and internal controls.

  3. Knowledge of Title 31 reporting requirements.
