 About the Opportunity

We are seeking talented and highly driven people practitioners to join our People & Culture, Strategic Partnerships team

Focusing on strategic partnering and consulting for DCS, this is not your usual Business Partner role. With a new team structure to enable us to better serve our customers and (over 10,000!) employees, the Strategic BP team are a hybrid of Employee Experience, Organisational Design & Structure and HR, making it an unmissable opportunity for someone looking to up the ante in their HR career.

About People & Culture 

We support over 10,000 + staff working across multiple agencies who are delivering on our vision of providing the people of NSW with a great customer service when interacting with the NSW Government. People & Culture are focused on delivering a better people experience, supporting and enabling the business to deliver success and adopt new ways of working by embracing innovation and positive collaboration.

A typical day of work for you might include:

  • Acting as a trusted partner to Executive and Senior Business Leaders and translate organisational objectives to implement quality organisational and talent management initiatives
  • Partnering with the business to deliver workforce initiatives to support their people strategies.
  • Team culture reviews and recommendations and implementation support for success
  • Demonstrating your facilitation skills to deliver strategically aligned workshops to a range of stakeholders.
  • Delivering to an audience of senior executives.
  • Strategic Workforce Planning and delivery of initiatives.

 To be successful in this role you will possess a great blend of skills and experience, including:

  • A customer-centric mindset and passion for community.
  • Strong ethics and values that align to our customer service driven culture.
  • Strong facilitation skills to deliver strategically aligned workshops.
  • Strong decision-making skills as well as excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • You have a background or maybe even qualifications in Organisational Psychology, Organisational Design, or something similar and can draw from this experience as needed.
  • You have experience, or the confidence needed, to articulately present complex information to stakeholders from across the business, including to an audience of senior executives.
  • Demonstrated experience or understanding of developing workplace policies and strategies, Strategic Workforce Planning, and delivery of initiatives.

Salary Grade 09/10, with the base salary for this role starting at $129,464 base plus superannuation
