To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Technician to join our team.

 

The Role: Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, purpose of the role is to be responsible for the safe, quality and effective maintenance execution for the defined mechanical scope associated with Arrow Energy’s compression, power, water treatment, pipeline and wellfield assets where required.

 

In addition, you will:

  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
  • Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
  • Execution of assigned PM and CM scopes of work as defined by the company CMMS
  • Ensuring all relevant maintenance data is captured in the CMMS including Work Order closure and CM notifications for defects identified while performing tasks
  • Follow all prescribed Permit to Work and safe isolation practices including holding the positions of Permit Holder and/or Permit Authority as required.
  • Provide technical support and coaching to team members, demonstrate visible safety leadership and stand in as the Maintenance Supervisor to provide coverage as required.
  • Work flexible shift patterns as required to meet maintenance management requirements e.g. participate in night shift rosters or on call duties.

 

About You

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

 

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have: 

  • Qualifications: High School / FE College [OR] 2 A Levels [OR] BTEC Higher National Diploma
  • Previous maintenance experience working in heavy industry, ideally within oil and gas
  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical trade
  • Gas Test Atmosphere MSMWHS217 or equivalent
  • Working at Heights -RIIWHS204D or equivalent
  • Forklift High Risk Work Licence (LF)
  • Elevated Work Platform High Risk Work Licence (EWP)
  • Open driver’s licence (Manual)
  • Light Vehicle Operations RIIVEH305 or PMASUP236
  • Senior First Aid certificate
