DEFINITION Under supervision, perform a variety of unskilled and semiskilled maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the various building trades; and do other related work as required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Perform unskilled and semiskilled maintenance, repair, and construction work in the various maintenance trades; assist maintenance personnel in the construction and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, playground equipment, cabinets, shelving, chalkboards, and bulletin boards; may assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of gas and water lines; may assist in the repair and replacement of floor and ceiling tile; may assist in the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilating, and cooling systems; may assist in the repair of door hardware; load, unload, and drive maintenance service vehicle to and from work sites; prepare surfaces and paint a variety of equipment, furniture, and facility physical structures; may perform custodial functions as required.

NOTE: REQUIRED EXAMINATION will be administered on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., at the Redlands Unified School District, located at 20 West Lugonia Avenue, Redlands. Testing time is approximately 2 hours. NO FURTHER NOTICE WILL BE GIVEN. Disabled applicants may request reasonable accommodation in regard to testing procedures.
