As an IT Support Engineer, you will be a vital part of the team that ensures our colleagues have the reliable and high-performing tools they need to succeed.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to build on your existing IT support experience in a fast-paced, multi-OS environment (Windows, macOS, and Linux). You will handle a mix of daily support tasks and get involved in exciting project work, allowing you to broaden your technical horizons. Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Act as a key point of contact for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for our end-user devices, both in person and remotely.
  • Device Management: Manage the lifecycle of our laptops and desktops, including their build, configuration, and decommissioning. You will use modern tools like Intune to deploy software, updates, and critical security patches.
  • Systems Administration: Provide support for our cloud-based Office 365 environment and assist with tasks related to identity and authentication systems.
  • Project Collaboration: Work alongside the infrastructure team on regional projects, assisting with technology rollouts, office moves, and other initiatives.
  • Third parties' interactions: Collaborate with third parties suppliers to deliver first class service.
  • Knowledge & Improvement: Help maintain our knowledge base by updating and creating articles, ensuring solutions are shared effectively across the team.

What You'll Bring (Requirements)

Essential:

  • Around 5 years of experience providing IT support in a professional environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Experience with modern device management and software deployment solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune).
  • Experience administering Office 365 in a cloud environment.
  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and working within a ticketing system.
  • A logical approach to technical analysis and root cause investigation.
  • Ability to balance daily support tasks with other responsibilities like problem investigation, change management.

Desirable:

  • Exposure to identity and authentication management systems (experience with SailPoint would be a plus).
  • Experience supporting Linux desktop environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles (ITIL Foundation certification is a strong plus).
  • Some experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
  • Knowledge of security tools like endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike) and disk encryption (e.g., BitLocker).
