About the Role:

The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the daily operations within our manufacturing and warehouse facilities located in Clute, TX. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high standards of workplace safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs. The successful candidate will lead and develop teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance while managing resources effectively to meet organizational goals. They will collaborate cross-functionally to implement best practices in operations management and cost control, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Ultimately, the Operations Manager will be instrumental in sustaining operational excellence and supporting the company’s growth objectives through strategic leadership and hands-on management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within manufacturing or warehouse environments.
  • Proven track record in managing teams and improving employee performance.
  • Strong knowledge of workplace safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in cost control and operational efficiency initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Certification in Operations Management or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data-driven decision-making tools.
  • Background in large-scale manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with advanced warehouse management systems and automation technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise daily manufacturing and warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate employee performance, providing coaching and development opportunities to build a strong, motivated team.
  • Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and comply with OSHA regulations.
  • Develop and monitor operational budgets, focusing on cost control and cost reduction strategies without compromising quality or safety.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments to streamline operations, improve productivity, and resolve any operational issues promptly.
