Department Overview
Position Summary
The Resource Management Coordinator identifies unit staffing requirements and finalizes overall organizational staffing plan utilizing available resources with minimal supervision. In collaboration with the Hospital Nursing Supervisor will problem solve and seek remedy of unique and imminent unit staffing needs during their assigned shifts.
The RMC 1 utilizes CTCC online MNA contracts and SAC policies; SEIU contract and practices; and non-contract policies/practices when finalizing staffing plans. They are responsible for triaging clinical staffing areas of concern and alerting the Hospital Nursing Supervisor when needed.
License/Certification/Registration required? No
Education:
* High school diploma required.
* Two years of college or secretarial science degree preferred.
* A combination of Microsoft Word and computer skills required.
Experience:
* Hospital administrative experience preferred.
* Experience staffing union employees preferred.
* 0-3 years of centralized staffing office experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Requires strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent demands.
* Must be detail oriented and work effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions.
* Must have the ability to assess and problem solve in fast-paced situations that will have frequent competing priorities and needs.
* Demonstrates strong written and documentation skills.
* Must be able to communicate in a calm thoughtful manner when communications are inharmonious with organizational customers.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
